Pelee island needs to be an integral part of sW Ontario plan. Currently, there is no way for mainland residents to commute to island for a morning work shift. (Earliest arrival is 11:30am.
There is very limited service to ohio, essential for tourism in Ontario.
The only ferry to pelee from ohio departs at 15:00. Making day trips impossible,
The ferry schedule does not reflect the many special events on Pelee, making it hard to book space for vehicle travel to and from island on many weekends.
