We should not be advocating to cut more trees, many places in Canada and many municipalities in Ontario have declared Climate Emergencies. We should be more creative and efficient with the volume we already cut and be far less wasteful. Also, automation, technology, heavy equipment has made it easier and faster to log, however often the value of the products produced are much cheaper than they once where. Harvesting more logs with less workers creates less jobs and shorter contracts. There is a lot to be said with doing things buy hand, seeking high quality products worth more compared to cheaper products and lots of them.
Forests are renewable but on a much different time scale then human economic standards as is the process of carbon sequestration.
DO NUT CUT MORE TREES DOWN, DO NOT REDUCE THE BARRIERS TO LOGGING, we will destroy our forests if we do this
