the Ontario Woodlot Association (OWA) is very important to private woodlot owners like myself. It would be helpful if the Government of Ontario funded some of the costs and made it mandatory for private woodlot owners who are Managed Forest members to belong to OWA. A strong OWA is important as a partner for the Ministry/government to advance forestry for economic benefits and for the environment and enjoyment of the environment.
The OWA is a reliable partner for the government to promote policies that enhance preservation of the planet.
