I am opposed to granting…

I am opposed to granting approval for this application to use the subject land as a waste dump site. The reasons for rejection include:
1. proximity to creeks/rivers/lakes,
2. proximity to residents living in the area,
3. water pollution,
4. air pollution (odours from dumped waste),
5. applicant's previous history for disregarding rules and regulations for operating the dump site on the 25th line (fines and further operating restrictions were levied as a result),
6. a previously run operation in the Grass Lake/Cameron Lake area was shut down due to odour and water pollution (including the contamination of wells), and
7. the closure of the 25th line dump site for all the same reasons as listed above.

Based on the above, this application should not be approved.
