We note that the proposal as posted on the EBR appears to be proposing different standards for northern Ontario than for southern Ontario, as in: "Specifically, the ministry is seeking input on whether to apply the updated standards to Southern Ontario and have the current standards apply to Northern Ontario or part thereof."
What is the rationale for having different standards of care between north and southern parts of the Province? We would appreciate receiving a response in a timely fashion, in order to consider the rationale for two provincial standards for one province as we prepare our comments on this regulatory proposal.
