It is imperative that taxpayers in our county have a say as to where garbage will be dumped. We all appreciate it needs to go somewhere, however, put it on government owned land where residential properties will not be adversely affected by the added traffic of sewage tanker trucks and the imminent foul odours wafting onto and into their homes. Also the concerns of the ever present pharmaceuticals and chemicals leaching into our water table is a tremendous concern in the world we find ourselves living in. A better solution is to dump this sewage in areas far from residential areas.
Thank you for addressing these concerns as if someone were to dump in your back yard. We are in this together so together we will find a solution that meets with the approval of all landowners and business owners in our beautiful county.
