Attached are comments/letters which have been submitted in relation to the GTA West Transportation Corridor:
1) Letter from Kleinburg Area Ratepayer's Association to the Minister of Transportation and City of Vaughan dated October 28, 2019 regarding realignment of the GTA West Corridor.
2) Letter from Malone Given Parsons to City of Vaughan dated November 8, 2019 regarding realignment of the GTA West Transportation Corridor and impacts onto the approved planned development areas.
3) Comment submission form to GTA West project team regarding PIC#2 route impacts of GTA West Transportation Corridor.
The above noted documents have resulted in the submission of resolutions by the City of Vaughan Council and Region of York Council to the GTA West project team supporting the relocation of the GTA West Transportation Corridor alignment to avoid impacts to planned and approved development areas in the City of Vaughan. Based on this the GTA West project team is currently reviewing alternative transportation route alignments. Therefore, the Northwest GTA Transmission Corridor study area should not be narrowed as not to preclude the possible alternative transportation corridor alignments under review by the GTA West project team. Any refinements should be postponed until after such time that the GTA West Transportation Corridor has been confirmed.
