I cannot express enough how against I am this proposal around developers only needing to allocate 5% green space, down from 20%. Now more then ever the city needs Greenspace both for our mental health, local wildlife, as well as the environment. For too long Developers have had free run and while absolutely necessary they should not hold all the power.
Green space needs to be a priority and the 20% requirement clearly has not deterred development in the past, so why change it.
