To Whom It May Concern:

I am a resident of Willowdale/North York. I am concerned about the significant projected reductions in Developer payments which would be available to North York City Centre for community benefits, under the new regulation.
North York Centre has experienced enormous development in recent years, which has put a great strain on local facilities and infrastructure. Existing development charges for community benefits have been crucial to obtaining parkland, community centres, childcare centres, etc. This are desperately needs to hang on to, and improve, the little existing parkland/ greenspace that it has.
Please update the new regulation to ensure that North York Centre continues to receive Developer payments comparable to what exist today. More funding is required for appropriate parkland and community benefit infrastructure.
