This facility has no business being located steps from an established residental area along with the devastating impacts on the long exisiting Wildlife in the area.
Upon reading the brief description of the facilty:
The maximum daily waste received is 1240 tonnes of non-hazardous waste and 1240 cubic metres of other liquid waste and the maximum on-site storage capacity is 4080 cubic metres per tonnes of other liquid waste/non-hazardous solid waste.
The service area will be the Province of Ontario. The anaerobic digester and organic processing centre operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Material will be received and exported from the site during site operational hours.
Would the Minister want this facility located in their residential neighbourhood?
This project has been quietly organized with NO PUBLIC consultation. This is a large facility that has the
potential for damaging environmental reprecussions on the surrounding neighbourhood.
This must not be allowed to operate.
