The facility will receive 1,240 tonnes/day of organic materials and export 620 of that quantity.
Since they will employ trucks to receive and send out the materials, that equates to over 200 trucks/day coming in and going out. That is over 400 truck-trips/day.
Has the Ministry considered the amount of noxious smoke these trucks will release into the residential area?
Has the effect of this added truck traffic been assessed when compounded with the other traffic to the that very heavy industrial area?
