I am concerned that getting rid of reporting requirements will result in less transparency. The last long term energy plan was released in 2017 when a different government was in power. If there is no long term energy plan consumers and energy suppliers could be left in the dark on the trends of the energy industry as well as predictions of future electricity prices. It is not clear what will replace the current system.
