I fully support extending the moratorium on bottling water as I think what Nestles tried to do in Elora and are doing in Guelph/Aberfolye is terrible. Local residents should control their own water resources and should have a strong say in regulations to that effect. Selling water for profit that is pumped from a common resource aquifer at almost zero cost is immoral and wrong, when we need the water for our present and future security. Clean water is a worldwide scarce resource - we should not take it for granted or let corporations like Nestles make huge profits and vast sources of plastic pollution - it is simply wrong. Thank you.
