It looks like you have a very sound wildlife management program. Thank you for considering expanding the wild take of raptors to include the peregrine. I am a falconer and have never trained a peregrine until I helped the Bird of Prey Center in California to rehabilitate and condition peregrines that have come to the center ill-equipped to life in the wild. Once brought up to condition and taught to hunt I release the birds back into the wild healthier and stronger and ready to care for itself. In offering these raptors that 2nd chance I have come to really appreciate the species. I am more than ever a proponent of falconers having this chance to fly wild peregrines once again. And as you clearly outlined in the regulatory guidelines, the environmental impact of the proposal is neutral. Thank you again for being leaders in this endeavor to advance our cultural heritage, falconry.
