My husband has been a dedicated falconer for 17 years. He is an avid conservationist and has always respected all wildlife. My husband has been quite disappointed these past few years with the draw as he has only had success once in 7 years. This would obviously be a huge improvement for his falconry and for the falconry group as a whole. I also understand that this is beneficial to the species within their first year, as it helps sustain them through the winter. I appreciate that the bird of prey will then be released to the wild a stronger, healthier bird.
