The Northern Goshawk is not a common bird in Ontario. Fewer and fewer are being sighted every year. This is a statistical fact and is born out in the data from decades of Christmas Bird Counts. To allow falconers to remove birds that are already in short supply is nothing less than scandalous. Please stop cowtowing to these special interest groups. This move will be for the benefit of very few and will not benefit the species in any way.
