I have a falconer friend/co-worker who spent nearly $10,000 importing a goshawk from Europe only to have the bird perish from a fluke genetic condition. He’s still trying to recuperate that loss. He has done a lot of field work studying the population in Ontario and has a deep
appreciation for this particular species. Allowing someone responsible like him to utilize a wild goshawk is an asset to the conservation of these magnificent birds. Thank you for considering this proposal.
