I believe the support of falconry and the expansion of the live capture regulations are very important. Falconry is important as a cultural and symbiotic activity. With proper implementation and ethical practice it serves to bring people closer to nature. It raises awareness of our natural systems and the roles we play. Expanding the regulations for capture and use of birds of prey serves to bring more people into the fold, and attention given to our natural systems. As such I believe the expanded laws benefit everyone falconer and non falconer alike.
