I am shocked that this is actually being considered. With the decline of so many bird species, allowing the capture of wild raptors for essentially human entertainment is disturbing. In this day and age, the MNR needs to put more interest on the side of wildlife, not on human wants. Falconry is not essential, and is an outdated hobby. To actually use our tax dollars to even talk about this is absurd. The MNR needs an overhaul and there needs to be a seperate entity to oversea decisions made regarding wildlife.
