I agree that it would be wise to extend the water bottling permit moratorium, particularly to allow for additional consultation with the traditional council in Indigenous communities. I think it would be prudent to listen to what Indigenous communities have to say in terms of water ethics and this should be a factor when deciding upon the future of our groundwater extraction regulations.
