The Arizona Falconers Association supports expanded take of wild raptors, and the AFA support the positions of both the Ontario Hawking Club and the North American Falconers Association. Wild take of raptors for the purpose of falconry does not have any impact on raptor populations, and it is an important aspect of an intangible cultural heritage. Harvest of wildlife should always be based on science, and the science supports wild raptor take for falconry.
