I’m writing this comment to support the wild goshawk take for falconry, because I feel goshawks are quite a common species and they should be managed for this purpose. Falconers as a whole take exceptional care of their birds and have a common interest in not only the survival but also the expansion and continuation of the species for future generations. Allowing falconers who have an inherent and specific interest not vested in political or other gains to manage and engage goshawks and other raptor populations will both help to ease provincially funded efforts as well as raise community awareness.
