As a formally licensed Falconer in Ontario and now a licensed Master Falconer in WA state. I have seen that there is no negative impact on the raptor populations with increasing the wild take. Since moving to WA state from Ontario I have been able to capture various species of raptors all of which have been released back into the wild except my imprint Goshawk that was taken at 14 days old she is now 9 years old and is in a breeding project. In a majority of states and some provinces the take of raptors is allowed and Ontario Falconers should have the same privileges. I truly hope you consider this as it will not have an impact on the wild populations of raptors in Ontario.
