The concept of paying to have the privilege of destroying important habitat for endangered species is bizarre! Important habitat needs to be protected not destroyed. Please do not go ahead with this legislation. It represents all that is wrong with a completely business oriented government. Removing “red tape” and “ streamlining” processes in this context means removing environmental protections. Citizens must have access to natural environments close to home for all of our mental health and that includes environments rich in many species. Your proposal goes against providing a healthy environment for your citizens.
