Hello,
These changes are not in line with the public interest and do not consider the many ramifications that could occur to environmental, heritage, and other important Ontario sites. This order should be repealed and reconsidered. These changes are under the guise of affordable housing, but do not offer any practical guide or requirements for making sure projects that would fall under it are primarily for affordable housing. Allowing these decisions to take place in a vacuum without consultation with city planners, and without the public is not the way to build a city. Repeal and replace with a plan that takes the values of what Ontario wants to build for the future, not just for now.
Thank you
