Comments on behalf of the Corporation of the Township of Tiny are as follows:

•Provide the GIS layers to the local municipalities to allow for more accurate comparison of the draft Provincial mapping with the current local mapping.

•Ensure that all settlement areas are removed from the Natural Heritage System.

•Ensure that all historically designated and zoned future development lands in the Shoreline area are removed from the Natural Heritage System.

•As in the Agricultural Mapping Refinements, the ORMCP and NEP areas must match their parent document related to Natural Heritage.

•The Township of Tiny has completed a detailed two year Natural Heritage Evaluation Study completed by the Severn Sound Environmental Association, which has informed the mapping for the draft Tiny OP.  This information is significantly much more detailed than the draft mapping of the Province and should be used as the basis for any Provincial mapping.

•Ensure that the Province will accept a separate Greenlands designation, as currently proposed in the Tiny draft OP, in order to protect the natural heritage features and linkages (i.e. not an overlay).
