Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposed expansion of the Greenbelt. My responces to the discussion questions are below.

Question 1

The initial study area makes a great deal of sense to me.

Question 2

During the process of refining boundaries I recommend that care is taken to ensure that continuous areas of farmland are protected to ensure long term viability.

Question 3

Question 4

Please consider expanding the Greenbelt into Simcoe County. Three areas of particular focus should be the low lying specialty crop areas that area located south of Alliston as well as on the north side of Highway 89 just east of Highway 400 and the groundwater recharge areas in and around the Minesing wetland.
