I am submitting a comment to share my objection to the proposed Quarry in Milton. We are concerned about the impacts it will have in our area. Firstly, we are all on a well system for our water. The concern is that the Quarry will negatively affect our water system, potentially causing pollution. We are satisfied with the well system that is being used in our neighbourhood and do not want it disrupted in any way.
Second, we are concerned about the noise and traffic this will cause. We live in a peaceful area outside the city, which already has a lot of transport truck traffic due to the nearness of the highway. Often the railway tracks and the roads in our area need to be fixed due to the heavy usage. It would not be ideal to increase this flow of heavy transport truck traffic with the addition of the Quarry. The noise from the Quarry is also a concern for us.

I do not want the Quarry to be built in our area out of concern for water and air pollution as well as the affects on traffic and increased noise. We love our little community and hope to keep it healthy and peaceful.
