Ontario must continue to develop in a stragic and sustainable way. The current pandemic has shown us that food security, as well as climate change must be dealt with immediately. Expansion of the Ontario Green Belt is an intelligent way to develop with these two things in mind. The Green Belt will protect agricultural land, and limit urban sprawl. Thus limiting carbon emissions from transportation, and securing our local food production. We must go further and continue to strengthen buy Ontario policies, and fund a transition to regenerative agriculture. The expansion of the Ontario Green Belt is a necessity. Our future depends on intelligent decisions such as this.
