You will be hard-pressed to grow a Greenbelt if valuable farm land abutting many stretches of greenbelt is allowed to be annexed and then sold to developers. It must not always be about development! Stop urban crawl! Stop urban crawl! Stop urban crawl!
Stop building more roads, which have to cut through valuable land. Start improving rail corridors and encouraging people to get out of their cars.
