With human population at an all time high and with this most recent pandemic it is extremely important to reserve our Greenbelt and farmland more now than ever. We need to take a close look at our own resources and not be so dependent on other countries to feed us. Further to this, our wildlife and their natural habitat is suffering from our booming development. There needs to be a balance or we will all suffer the consequences. This pandemic is a wake-up call and we need to be able to look after ourselves and not be so dependent.
