Protecting the environment…

Protecting the environment is a great initiative, but the way that the Greenbelt has grown is certainly not in favor of the environment, economy or affordability. Please look at the map that you yourself have published and see how you have taken the GTA hostage, and are only helping the developers and existing real estate investors to collect the ransom money as a result. While Toronto is one of the bigger cities in Canada, and without any land to grow, the density of population within GTA will only grow and it also means that vehicles stuck in traffic ensuring that the carbon emissions are higher than what it should have been even. GTA occupies less than 7200 sq. kms of land, while the Greenbelt around it is 8000 sq. kms. Need I say more?
