As one of the family members that has farmed the area in the proposed greenbelt expansion plan I think you should consider the land holders futures as well. We don't have lifestyle sustaining pension plans like the individuals making these decisions or the supporting urban residents that have no stake in the land. We've worked hard for almost 60 years supplying food for the masses and to take away our potential opportunity to sell at developable land prices vs. farm prices (7 to 1 in our case) is straight out theft. We are currently over producing food on the existing land base and with the developments in equipment and technology making us more productive per acre the need to rob us of what is the backbone of our retirement plan is especially cruel.
