Sir, your law can not get around our Provincial Policy Statement, nor can it disavow the treaties signed with First Nations.
The current PPS requires Indigenous engagement in an open and procedurally-fair process. If that process seems too onerous to you and you excuse yourself from that consultation via a simple Minister's Zoning Order, you will break promises which the highest court in the land has determined are unbreakable. Therefore you will LOSE in court and WASTE even more of our money. You will also continue to drive home the point that your racism knows no bounds and you don't intend to do what is right vs. what is expedient.
In short, an MZO is NOT a good excuse to BREAK THE LAW! Stop it!
