Minister Clark,
Include the Paris-Galt Moraine in your expansion of the Greenbelt. It needs increased protections, like no quarrying below the water table in the Greenbelt expansion area.
Guelph is an entirely groundwater dependent community. The ecological services the moraine provides is not just for humans but for ecosystems which depend on the watersheds they feed.
Guelph is poised to develop into the moraine under the Clair-Maltby Secondary plan. The city does not need to expand into this area as there are many areas within the city that have not been developed as of yet.
