I am strongly in favour of expanding the greenbelt as much as possible, both in the Paris-Galt Moraine and in the Urban River Valleys. This is important to protect ecological corridors and to keep key natural areas off limits to development. We need to restore natural areas and enhance their protection. Habitat is being fragmented and we need to enhance connectivity. We need to support natural ecosystems, on which we humans also depend. Please move as quickly as possible on enlarging the greenbelt and keeping it free of development.
