In the endeavour to combat urban sprawl, while at the same time reducing air pollution, it makes very good sense to increase the size of the greenbelt. In these times when developers seem to have the upper hand, it would be reassuring to those that appreciate green spaces to see decisions made that support a greener Ontario. Once greenbelt is established it must be defended vigorously against political moves that endanger it.
