I applaud the Government of Ontario for considering expansions of the "Greenbelt", as the present Greenbelt was only intended as a starting point.
However, there must be no development incursions into the existing Greenbelt. New development of the Greenbelt must not be seen as compensation for losses in the existing Greenbelt.
We need to improve and expand the existing Greenbelt.
