Municipalities, provincial governments and agencies often do not use the authority they have to protect our environment. I would like to see more protection of the existing greenbelt and the environment. Add the entire Oak Ridges Moraine to the Greenbelt and uphold and enforce the Oak Ridges Moraine Plan and Act.

We have 10 years to reverse the course of global warming before we are past the point of no return. At a minimum the first question that should be asked when addressing every single decision made by our governments is "how can we do this with little to no affect to the environment"? There should be an Environment Champion on every single committee, government dept etc., to ensure this happens.
