The expansion of the Greenbelt shall not reduce the protection of existing ROP policies.
CSGW would suggest that efforts be put forth towards increased protections of the Waterloo Moraine from the potential hazards created by development and aggregate extraction. With the Region of Waterloo slated to grow with corresponding increased volumes of groundwater required from the WATERLOO MORAINE, focus must be on protection of these sensitive, vital and valuable regional recharge areas.
