The Township of Puslinch Council, at its meeting held on March 24, 2021, discussed in depth the
Government’s Proposal to Expand the Greenbelt.
Currently, approximately 23% of the Township is within the Greenbelt. The proposed expansion
will place an additional 70% of the Township within the Greenbelt. This represents approximately
93% of our Township, so clearly there is a keen interest in getting this right.
Puslinch Council, in collaboration with the County of Wellington Planning Department,
respectfully submit the attached comments on the Greenbelt Expansion Proposal for your
support and consideration.
