The average price of a home in the GTA will rise to over $900,000 this year. This is an unsustainable state of affairs and the government needs to make major changes to remedy this situation. The single greatest factor contributing to absurd housing prices is the cost of land. By expanding the greenbelt you only exacerbate this dire situation. I am completely opposed to this ridiculous proposal that is of no value to the people of Ontario.
