It seems that the government needs to be far more ambitious with the expansion and include many other areas currently facing threats and developmental pressures - particularly other parts of the Grand River Watershed and areas such as Simcoe County and Dufferin County.

We also need to ensure that Greenbelt expansion doesn’t damage our local Protected Countryside, Countryside Line, and Environmentally Sensitive Landscape protections.

I speak gently but if I could, I’d be calling this from the rooftops.
