I strongly agree with the expansion of the Greenbelt and it's continued protection for the health and welfare of our current and future generations. Maintaining our headwaters, ecosystems, and diversity of animal life is crucial. No development can justify the loss or degradation of the Greenbelt. Rather than expanding outwards, we should focus on increasing urban density and penalizing underpopulated, sprawling suburbs. As well development around the Greenbelt that can have repercussions on the health of the Greenbelt should be scrutinized heavily. Lastly stronger legislation should be put into place that guarantee the long-term protection of the Greenbelt no matter which political party is in control. Thank you.
