Good Day - I am highly concerned about the impact of the Miller Proposal to the town of Uxbridge and the Oakridge aquifer.
When a company enters into an agreement for resource extraction, then profits for many many years, there should be an expectation of them to honour their original proposal. Not only have they blatantly ignored the rules with their non-compliant contractor's yard, but they are proposing creating a new asphalt shingle recycling plant. They should be held to their original agreement a remediate the pit
I find this proposal abhorrent to the taxpayer and residents of the township, the proposed oversight lacking (township vs MNR), and it may very well be illegal under the ORMCP.
I hope the government looks after the people of Uxbridge during this process. I do not want 100s of extra trucks on the road while I bike to the Durham forest. I do not want to worry about a new asphalt single recycling plant in my town.
Please make the right decision for the people of Uxbridge.
Thanks in advance
