The fact that this is a threat to a water source, blows my mind that it would even be considered! Quality Water for consumption is a very precious resource and we are running out of it as we speak. The waste soil from the GTA being brought in, for the most part unchecked, (as we have seen in Greenbank only a few kms away) to contaminate OUR resources should not be allowed. Over years to come the contaminants that are brought to this site WILL leach into the water endangering our access to clean drinking water and the health of us and our children. Tired of seeing PROFIT OVER HEALTH. Better to act now and PREVENT AND PROTECT than to wait until it is too late and damage cannot be undone.
