If the pandemic has shown us anything, it's that our outdoor spaces are vitally important to the public. Taking away funding from conservation authorities will decrease the quality of conservation areas meaning less recreational potential, poorer protection of intact ecosystems, and further spread of invasive species. People want protected spaces that offer quality recreational spaces, invest in it.
