Climate change is the foremost issue of our time, with long-term ramifications towards the very habitability of the planet. Cancelling cap and trade without the introduction of any replacement policy for dealing with carbon emissions continues a pattern of inaction and denial that will negatively impact Ontarians for generations. The science is clear, and we are already beginning to see the results in extreme weather conditions, ocean acidification, and more. Each government that passes the buck is complicit.
Keep cap and trade.
