There should be no debate that a market based mechanism for carbon pricing is needed. Whether it is cap and trade or tax based does not really matter. Why dismantle a system that was working well to simply impose a top down solution. Ontario should keep the cap and trade system and continue to champion best practice in carbon pricing.
