Hello, to whom this my concern
I am concerned that the government does not have a clear plan to fight against climate change and reduce carbon emissions within the province. The cap and trade act has somewhat helped reduce the amount of carbon large companies reduce. However, as a result of these programs, these companies carryon the costs onto the consumer. If the government wants to scrape this a
Cap and trade program they should have a climate action plan, that is more effective in reducing climate emissions and hold companies accountable for their carbon footprint. Furthermore, the provincial government should help further simulate the renewable energy and recycling sectors within Ontario. The government should offer rewards to companies that are able to show that they have truthly reduced their impact on the environment. I also strongly that that the governments needs creates more habitat conservation areas that protect forest and restrict industrial development.
The future of the province is in your hands
Sincerely, a concerned Ontarian
